"We had our one year old with us and forgot to bring milk. I sent my husband to the convenience store to get some, the guy at the front desk stopped him, went to the kitchen, and gave us a whole gallon. What a treat to have staff that go above and beyond. The cleaning staff was very friendly as well. They don’t serve breakfast on the weekend until later so I was really bummed we didn’t get breakfast seeing how I searched my hotels based on breakfast included."

I stay at this Holiday Inn every time I am in Cedar Falls. The only complaint I have is that this hotel should offer FREE breakfast especially considering the room rates, I have stayed at other hotels around the country that were just as nice that offer complimentary breakfast with your stay and they were better breakfasts than what you charge for at...

"The Black Hawk is a very cool, super vintage hotel that is beautifully maintained. It’s like stepping back in time except it’s functional in today’s world. Great bar and pastries in the morning. We’ve already booked our room on the way to Sioux Falls and back."

"Im not a fan of pet friendly hotels and there was a barking dog at check in with a very stressed owner yelling at it. The staff was very professional and hotel was quite clean so I gave it a good review as I had a great stay."

"The beds made lots of noises compared to the original set up in most places.they were clunking and you could hear neighboring rooms getting in out of beds"

"I wanted to extend my stay but the price went up by more than double, I asked if they matched hotels in the area and they said no. I checked out and gave their competition my money for another 5 nights! The breakfast was the same thing for my 3 night stay so nothing great. French toast sticks were so hard you couldnt bite into them. I own a business and if someone wanted competitor pricing I would give it to them as I do not want to lose them as a customer!"

"The check-in clerk wasn't friendly. He didn't greet us. In fact, he barely spoke to me while checking us in. He just asked for my name and phone number, took my cc info, and handed me the keys. He didn't tells where to find the elevators, or provide any information about the property. Our room was clean enough. However they tried to give my brother a room that hadn't been cleaned since the last occupant. In the morning, their breakfast wasn't adequately stocked. We came downstairs...

"This place is in a convenient location on the west side of town. You can walk to restaurants. However, this motel was very dirty—stained hallway carpeting, faint smell of cigarette smoke, people were loud at night. The room itself was pretty clean. Water pressure not so good. Doubt I’ll stay here again."
