"We only stayed one night after a concert at Alpine Valley, so really it was a few hours. We checked in before the concert, were there for under an hour, & came back to sleep. The proprietor was very friendly & welcoming. The room was decent enough, comfortable beds. The door didn’t lock real well, the deadbolt not at all. Using my travel hair dryer plugged into the wall outlet by the coffee maker blew the fuse twice, even after unplugging everything else. Overall it was good for the few hours...
"What’s not to like? It’s right on the lake, got a huge parking lot, my room had the lake view, it was clean and comfortable. I could not ask for more. "

"This was in a great location as it was not too busy and it felt very safe. Our room was very large and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of options both healthy and not. We had plans for six flags as well as in Chicago so this location was a perfect distance from both. "
"Should get with the town of Elgin/Dundee to install sidewalks. I couldn’t walk anywhere. There aren’t any sidewalks.
Also, maintenance or someone should walk around the building(at least once a day to pick up obvious trash/sacks of garbage"
