"For something that ran as much as this does, there were some features that were missing that I would’ve expected. Little things like soaps and shampoo and other small amenities, just in case you forget them. My shower ran out of cold water within less than a minute, so evidently they have limited capacity so you have to time that well. Was also surprised they didn’t have paper towels or napkins in the kitchenette area, again usually a standard feature when you are renting something with a kitchenette. Also, no pitcher for water. Loved having the ability to use the indoor swimming pool and hot tub, although it kind of grosses me out when there is foam in a hot tub because you don’t know what causes it. Unfortunately we do not get a beer room this time around and there was construction that we could see from our window, but maybe that’s because I booked via hotels.com, don’t know. Front desk staff did not seem like she wanted to be working, there was a lot of tense chitter chatter between the people working there when we registered. Did not make me feel welcome. That said, you cannot beat the convenience of the location. And the river is just glorious."

"The cabin was spacious, clean, and packed with amenities. The only downside is there is NO FREE WIFI. You have to purchase the package yourself. Laundry opens 24/7, and plenty of parking along the property."

"I absolutely love this resort and would highly recommend it!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. One staff member ran to open a door for me when I was bringing in my luggage. It was raining one day, so we spent the day at the spa. What an amazing experience. I never thought I would be glad it rained on a vacation day. Also, the restaurant is fantastic. My husband was talking about his meal days later. We look forward to coming back again someday."

"Travelers should ignore the bad reviews this property got, especially if booking a cabin or tent cabin. We had a great experience! Super convenient to the south entrance of Yosemite. The basic cabin was so cute and I’d definitely stay there again. It had a kitchen, coffee maker, fire pit and picnic table and chairs outside. It wasn’t cold at all but if traveling in winter months you may want to bring a portable heater. My friend stayed in a tent cabin and it was very nice, looked newly remodeled with nice floors. The check in process was very smooth. They even have a well stocked store with firewood and all camping essentials. I’ve been to several glamping sites and was impressed with my experience at Indian Flat. 5 stars!"

"Fantastic way to experience the greatest outdoors. This was my first time staying overnight in Yosemite Valley and the convenience of Curry Village is an outstanding perk for day hikes and shuttle access. They provide blankets, but I strongly recommend keeping an eye on the overnight lows and bringing a sleeping bag if you're in one of the unheated tent cabins."

"Great location! Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was outstanding. We had 2 rooms. One west facing with a great view of Yosemite Falls. The other room was east facing with a phenomenal view of Half Dome. Would definitely recommend this hotel! "
