"Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed. The communal dining hall is very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere in the evening. The pool has stunning views straight up to Glacier Point, and with the adjacent shower block is very welcome at the end of a hot...

"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"This is the second time I have stayed here and I find it super convenient for hiking in Yosemite since it is located right at the start of many trails. Also Curry Village is very friendly with a very well stocked store and a coffee shop which opens early in the morning which is great when you want to start the day early.
Unheated tents are touch and go at this time of season so make sure you are well dressed at night."
"Overall the whole place was nice and it has perfect weather of not too hot not too cold and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. 10/10 we would stay again."
"The location, value, and staff were all wonderful. The tan cabin that we stayed in was spacious and came with great amenities such as a nice kitchen, grill, and a propane fire pit. My critiques are minor things such as the room being a bit dusty and dated, the shower leaking continuously, and one window not having a screen. Overall, the place is a great value for it's proximity to Yosemite National Park. The use of Cedar Lodge's indoor pool and hot tub were also major perks in my opinion. "
"This property is a grande dame of Sierra history. In its day, guests were creme de la creme of Hollywood royalty. You get the atmosphere of what it might have been having Cary Grant walk down the majestic staircase.
A real find at a reasonable price in a charming town."
"The lodge is right in the heart of Yosemite and an easy stroll to amazing waterfalls. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking The staff was lovely too. But the room itself was not clean or comfortable. It was stuffy, the mattress was old, the cleaning crew left garbage from the previous guest and the bathroom was a little icky. It’s a shame because this place could be an absolute treasure with a big of TLC. "
