"The bar and restaurant area was beautiful and the only problem was that it was not open when I was there. Breakfast was good. The pools were clean. It is very nice gated community. And a safe environment. I would definitely stay there again."

"All great. One of those rare places that's even better than you expected from the pictures."

"I love this place. The location is excellent just near to the quiet beach. Infinite pool is awesome"

"Although very conveniently located if you need something in Santa Cruz; the hotel is very basic; beds are just OK (not very comfortable, pillows so high that are not possible to use); restroom very hot and you get the noise from the street. I don’t think is worth the money."

"Loved our stay, it was incredible! Staff was wonderful especially Kenneth. We did a boat tour and he was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic to ensure all the birds on my list were at-least attempted to be found, which he successfully located 100% of them! We saw many herons, hummingbirds, storks, roseate spoonbills, kingfishers, and jabirus! (Among so many other life-listers) At sunrise I sat on the balcony of our room with coffee and binoculars and saw many amazons, parakeets, and even a...

"yes can see ocean from room"

"Actitud Gunacasteca siempre terrible....no aprecian el tener trabajo y me refiero a front desk y un salonero en el desayuno."

"There is a lot to share about our experience. Our family of four booked this hotel for three nights to relax after some earlier adventures. Unfortunately we got some pretty terrible weather. We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. They gave us a lovely room and the staff we met were kind and friendly. They provided breakfast daily. The pool was...

"We are thrilled to be here and instantly feel right at home. The owner is absolutely wonderful—incredibly warm, welcoming, and a fantastic host who makes you feel like a friend from the very first minute. The view from here is spectacular, truly breathtaking, and provides the perfect backdrop to completely unwind. I honestly don't believe we could find a better accommodation for our stay in Costa Rica. If you are looking for a little slice of paradise with outstanding hospitality, look no...

"Stay was decent , staff was great. But the rooms didn't have hot water again. I stayed there in January and there was no hot water. The same thing happened this time. You have to fix the hot water. Thank you"

"Well kept property, convenient, friendly staff, quiet and peaceful"

"The room was in the basement with no hot water, small, and dark. The pool was the size of a large bathtub, and all small clean little prison compound. It would of suffice for a night or two, for about a 1/4 of the price i paid. But at $160 a night, it sucked. Worst hotel.com place ive ever stayed in Costa Rica."

"Clean room, comfortable beds, very nice pool area. Very friendly receptionist."

"A little dated, and lots of ants in the room. Other than that, it was okay and in a great location."

"muy buena atención, la piscina muy limpia al igual que las habitaciones"

"Es un hotel fenomenal, su ubicación permite unos atardeceres increíbles. El servicio y trato de sus colaboradores es muy cálido y cordial, realmente se esmeran por que uno se sienta bien. Deberían considerar cambiar los aires acondicionados de los cuartos por que están viejos y casi no enfrían. Tuvimos problemas con el primer cuarto asignado, nos cambiaron y el otro estaba igual."

"Good service. Very quiet during September off season. Pool is good. A little warm."
