Great place for travelers to Etna

Excellent service from the friendly owner. Convenient parking. Cozy room with comfortable beds. The villa is fantastically located in the hills and you'll get stunning views of the Catania area. A few minutes drive from the town of Nicolos where we found great food and good vibes. Overall, very good value for money. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Aresco to anyone visiting Etna area.

The property has to be considered within the price, which is the lowest I paid in Sicily. For that it is reasonable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There was parking which I appreciated. But, the place was quite run down - mould and flaking paint etc. No breakfast, and the closest shop you have to walk on a terrifying road with no pavement where you think every car might run you down. But, the price is certainly fair. Best for solo travellers.

Solo una notte, x una tappa, ma non si può dire nulla di negativo. Unico appunto non era disponibile la colazione. La posizione è suggestiva poco lontano dall' Etna, si è camminato sulla cenere e fa una strana sensazione.Il gestore/proprietario è una persona squisita, consigliato! Grazie

Amazing place

We have been travelling for seven weeks now and this has been the best place we have been at our trip. Absolutely unforgettable - a beautiful cottage made of wood with a stunning view of Catania and Etna. The cottage was clean and nice with everything we wished for. Besides that the owner, Pippo, is a very warm and kind person and gave us great advise about what to do. Besides that, there is a very very cute dog! Will definitely come back if we have the chance - much recommendable!!

What can I say abut villa Aresco? Absolutely stunning! The place is magical and made with so much effort to every little detail, it felt incredibly special and not just as a b&b. The owners are such a nice and lovely people, although I stayed only for one night I would highly recommend this place to everybody and I hope that people would appreciate it. It is a treasure for sure.

Ho soggiornato assieme a tre amici in questo B&B nel mese di giugno prenotando tramite Expedia. Quando siamo arrivati le camere erano diverse dalle foto caricate su Expedia, la doccia fatta artigianalmente perdeva acqua e non si chiudeva, la camera in se era abbastanza antiquata nel complesso. Wifi non funziona. Non è stato possibile pagare con il pos perché il proprietario ne era sprovvisto, abbiamo pagato in contati e non ci è stata rilasciata fattura/ricevuta. Non ci hanno dato le chiavi del cancello dicendoci di chiamare a qualsiasi ora che ci avrebbero aperto loro a qualsiasi ora della notte ( ci siamo fatti riguardo a tornare più tardi di mezzanotte vista la situazione delle telefonate) Elevata pulizia dell camere, asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno, disponibili per la colazione (da pagare a parte) e possibilità di utilizzare la piscina (pagando).

Bed & Breakfast senza colazione

La colazione d'inverno non c'è (contrariamente da quanto affermato sul sito di Expedia, dove è segnalato che è disponibile, ma non compresa nel prezzo). Hanno perso la nostra prenotazione ed hanno venduto le camere da noi prenotate (con la garanzia della carta di credito) per le ultime due notti. Quando siamo arrivati hanno dovuto preparare i letti perchè non ci aspettavano. Si sono poi giustificati col fatto che siamo arrivati 20 minuti dopo l'orario previsto per il Check In. Ho chiamato Expedia che, basandosi sullo stesso cavillo (20 min di ritardo), si è rifiutata di riproteggerci (comportamento che non mi aspettavo, essendo chiara l'inadempienza della struttura). Ci siamo quindi dovuti trovare durante il soggiorno un'altra sistemazione
