"Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. "A wonderful hotel! Front desk staff and bar staff were extra friendly. Bar service was excellent and massage was great. Breakfast was pretty good and included various coffee, meat, cheese, bread, hot options and dessert options. Location is up the hill with fantastic sea views, less than a half a mile walk to the beach, shops, and a busy bus stop (2.10e) that can take you to the main port, the castle and popular restaurants. The outdoor pool heated by thermal waters was about 25 degrees C in early October. Our room included a private thermostat and outdoor electronic light-blocking shutters controllable by switch."

"Room was very clean, and have an awesome ocean front view. The pool needs a lot of care, it was very neglected. The hotel have an amazing closeness to the beautiful ocean but accessibility is very challenging, specially for older, disabled people. Potential guest will have to walk a lot or use a small boat for 5 euros to get to the hotel. It's a family owned place where they offer you amazing food and great service at a reasonable price. And the views are the best we ever had!"

"This is a lovely hotel. Rooms very clean. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Claudia and Giovanni at reception were excellent and helped me with a room change and changing my ferry tickets. The restaurant staff were also brilliant. So welcoming and provided excellent service including accommodating specific food requests at breakfast. The beach is nearby with chairs and an umbrella included in stay, bus stop right outside. There is a thermal spa with thermal pools and a steam room. The only thing I would say is the thermal pool gutters could do with abit of a clean. I would recommend this place and would stay again! Thank you!"

"We’ve just returned from an unforgettable stay. The two ladies running the hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, helping us with everything from bus schedules to local recommendations. Getting There & Accessibility From Ischia Porto, we took the 175 bus, which took about 25 minutes and dropped us off right outside the property. There are quite a few steps leading up to the hotel—a great way to burn off carb-heavy meals, but worth keeping in mind for anyone with mobility concerns. Dining & Drinks The food at the on-site restaurant and bar was fantastic, and they make a brilliant Aperol Spritz. All expenses are settled at the end of the stay. In hindsight, we recommend requesting a price list beforehand to avoid surprises, as small extras like bottled water incur a charge. The included breakfast was varied and delicious, featuring eggs cooked to order and great coffee. Right next door, Onda Verde is another fantastic restaurant option. Rooms & Amenities Our room at the top featured a private balcony with sensational views. While basic, it had everything we needed—including great air conditioning and plenty of space to hang wet beach gear. A small fridge would have been a nice touch, though we knew in advance one wasn't provided. Pool & Beach The on-site thermal pool is compact, offers lovely views, and is surrounded by plenty of sunbeds. Because it is a thermal pool, the water isn't particularly cooling, but it remains a great place to relax. Getting down to the"

"Sant’Angelo is very cute but a little isolated as well. The bus goes to Caba Grado, after that it’s a system of golf cart, no cars. That said, the shuttle service (golf cart) that offers Loreley is fantastic. You just have to Whatapps them and they pick you up either Fumarole or Point info. It’s hilly there, hence so useful in the heat! We had an AC problem in our room the first night, it stopped working, we changed room at 3AM and no more issue. The staff is helpful there. The pool is very warm (probably heated by thermal) :) The breakfast is complete, served on their beautiful terrasse and very good! There are no little fridges in the rooms. The double bed are in fact two single bed put together (still comfortable). The only thing I’ll say is that there’s a strong smell of moisture/ humidity in the basement rooms/ although they have a nice terrasse."

"Casa Sofia was the perfect place to stay with the most amazing views. The staff were beyond helpful. Giving us great recommendations and getting us and our bags from the bus to the hotel. It is a climb from the centre of Sant’Angelo but I can’t imagine any place not being a climb. Would highly recommend."
