"Property was nicely decorated and, whilst there is no reception, the instructions to gain access were easy and worked well. The continental breakfast in the room was lovely and well thought through although there was a lack of English Breakfast tea bags which I assume was just because they hadn’t been topped up. There is no parking at the accommodation but lots of parking in the town centre - it’s only a few minutes walk and I would recommend parking first and then walking to the property as...

"They did not pickup the phone and did not lot us in, despite we called in advanced to confirm our arrival time and they told us they had a 24h doorman. Luckily another place nearby was still open and gave us a place to sleep, otherwise we would have been in trouble."

"If you are looking for a good night sleep i would not stay here. Pub appears to have lock ins until 1am and then they stand outside for hours talking loudly. Windows have no secondary glazing and your woken constantly by bin trucks in the morning. Maybe rooms at rear are better. Room is nice and clean but if they improved sound insulation on windows and closed pub earlier it might be bareable."

"Staff was great, room decent but right over the bar so very noisy til 11pm!"

"Lovely welcome to this lovely renovated village pub and hotel. Lovely public rooms and our bedroom was cosy, warm and good to be in. Excellent bathroom. Dinner was fine, breakfast was excellent,"

"Staff were very friendly on arrival and took us to our room. That was the only time we saw them and we spent 2 nights there 😅 The room was okay but the carpet could do with a good clean and maybe move the beds too, my son dropped a car under the bed and it came out covered in dust and hair… The room was chilly and we weren’t told how to turn the heating on, if it was even an option. The old style windows didn’t help either. The bathroom was in need of a refurbishment but at least the shower...

"Breakfast was good quality. My room was up three sets of stairs in the attic. While of a good size, it wouldn't be easy carrying a suitcase to the room."

"Enjoyable stay. Had everything we needed"

"Great pub with fab food. Lovely accommodation block with nice size rooms and facilities. Only down side for us would be beds are very hard, otherwise enjoyed our stay."

"We just spent the night there, coming back from a wedding celebration. So didn’t really check the place out much. But I’d definitely recommend the full English veggie b’fast & fresh coffee: very tasty! 🙂"

"The room is very nice and clean. But there should be air conditioner as we stay in summer and it’s fairly hot."

"Nice hotel, was aged in places, nice staff. Good use of facilities"
