"Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. "

"This garden stay near the city was a wonderful stop on our way from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Inid and her trusted companion Lucy were wonderful hosts. We ended up showing up early and were not turned away. Privacy was 100% being within the gates and the entire property is one huge garden. "This lodging is a hidden gem away from Poas but close enough to get to the crater within 20 minutes. The views from the dining area were spectacular. The owner, Cindy, communicated clearly and often. She provided excellent directions to the property which is located high up on a hill in a residential area. The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Serenity Ecolodge for a stay near Poas Volcano. I have nothing but good things to say about the...

"Everything was great. The food and beer at the beer garden was excellent. Needed a shuttle at 3 am to airport. Walked down stairs at 255 am and shuttle was waiting. Very nice and easy access to airport. "

Nothing fancy but very tasty and well cooked, good value for money. 25 mins from airport (12km), easy drive just a little traffic to consider"
