"When we arrived the AC wasn’t working properly, neither was the TV, we complained at 3pm when we checked in, we asked multiple times for a room fan and 6 hours later there was still no room fan, we got a room transfer to a new room that also had broken AC, then we finally got a fan from their room service worker and not receptionist. Won’t stay again for that price, didn’t eat the overpriced food either."

"Me and my wife stayed at Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel for five nights and had a genuinely pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, everything worked properly, and the AC was a lifesaver in the May heat. Check‑in was smooth, and we were even allowed to check in early. The staff were consistently warm and attentive. The resort has three restaurants/bars, all serving great food with plenty of local Cebu dishes. If you can, choose the breakfast option — the morning buffet is worth it. The beach is one of the nicest in the area, with clean white sand and calm water. There are lots of water activities available, including boat rides and island‑hopping. Highly recommend the coral reef snorkel dive tour. The pools are well maintained, and the on‑site spa was another highlight with good pricing and skilled masseuses. Another plus is the location. The resort is close to local nightlife spots, so there’s plenty to do outside the property if you want to explore. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and left with great memories. We’re already looking forward to coming back."

"Good breakfast, several food to choose . My room was clean but need some maintenance specially the bathroom shower door. By the window it looks like something was done but not finished. Towels need to be changed, they looked old and overused. Also when people on the other room made some loud noise or moved something you can hear it, that happened on my first night. I was awakened by people talking loud and made noise by moving furniture in their room . I liked the location which is just across Ayala mall where you can do shopping and restaurants to choose."

"Very family and elderly friendly however bed had termites or some kind of pest that were falling on my mom. So much so a room switch had to happen."
