"A note that the amenities were in a different hotel, so you’ll need to walk across the street for an open bar/restaurant."

"Lovely room with an amazing view. Facilities were great, and there were lots of lovely little touches, such as the dressing gowns. Also I had asked if there would be any oat/soya milk available as I have an intolerance, when we arrived there was not only oat milk but gluten and dairy free cereals, biscuits and yoghurt. "Comfortable room and good breakfast. Pleasant staff."

"5 star downstairs and outside. Grounds are superb. Room was ok... Bed was big, as was TV, but there were things that let it down. Cheap furniture, a wobbly toilet, an unsuitably small shelf in shower, cheap tea and coffee. Also only one bath towel between two, and one hand towel - no bath mat. "Friendly host and very helpful . We would recommend this stay to family and friends."

"All the staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious with a good choice. We had dinner on one evening and all four of us were more than happy with the quality of the food. We will definitely stay again."

"Lovely apartment, could do with being a little clearer about where to check in prior to the visit but the staff were helpful. Got charged an extra £50 on arrival which I thought was a security deposit but has actually been taken from my account with no explanation "
