"The hotel room was small but had everything we needed on a budget. We had to figure out the A/C as it kept reverting to energy saver which would have been fine but it came on and off every couple minutes all night the first night. "

"Old school Key West motel, with a nice pool and comfortable, clean rooms. Our room was spotless, and kept clean every day. Free coffee every morning at the outdoor Tiki Hut by the water, and a handy microwave and refrigerator in the room. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. By the end of the week, we felt like family! Parking was assigned per room, and was easy and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, and would absolutely return. "

"We had a really nice overnight at Captain Pips. Ate dinner at Porky's which was a short walk away. Our room was clean and had just what we needed (Starfish efficiency.) We used the kayaks in the morning and also the bikes. It was so nice to have access to those amenities! The staff were friendly and helpful! "

"The ocean was not visible from our room, which was not a big deal. What was a big deal was we received no service after our first day. No bed makeup, no towels, no garbage clean out, no sorry for no service when we went to get towels. This is our major complaint."

"Had an enjoyable stay, however, for the total expenses of this resort you would expect property conditions to be a little nicer. We had multiple minor issues with our rooms bathroom, the walls are paper thin to the point you can clearly hear your neighboring guests conversations, and rooms lack some basic amenities like a microwave... aside from minor complaints, this property puts in effort where thry can, and we did enjoy our stay"
