"Lovely resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. You wouldn’t even know it’s there. Need to have coffee makers in the rooms along with access to communal water and ice. For the price, it was expensive."

"This was an amazing property with lovely, patient staff, and owners who had an answer for each of the (many, many) questions we had. The area is beautiful and safe, and the owners make it a point to make sure guests are getting what they want out of a vacation. Thank you for nudging us to bike to Punta Uva, Eric. Next time -maybe- we'll consider rafting from the airport 😉"

"Excellent place for the final stop of our honeymoon. Ideal 200m walk to the beach and 15 minutes drive from Puerto Viejo. Breakfast each morning was authentic and the surroundings were impressive with toucans each morning at breakfast. "

"This property is a doorway to nature's paradise. Being set in jungle with an open living theme there is nothing to not love about Congo bongo. "What an amazing experience to live in the garden jungle surrounded by nature and wild animals. We saw and heard so many animals during the day and at night. Super kind owners (also lives on the property) and staff. Free walking around with the gardener in the garden to see lots of animals. Supermarkets and restaurants in Waking distance. Car/bikes required. Very well equipped kitchen, free laundry service and cleaning. Highly recommended!!!!"

"This has been on of our favorite hotels we have visited in Costa Rica. Absolutely beautiful, from the design to cleanliness.. in the middle of the woods, close to the beach, such a nature picturesque place. The service was also amazing as well as the breakfast that was included in the price. The only thing was that there was no hot water. This was a bit inconvenient but all in all an amazing stay!"

"Its was terrible. The only highlight was the girl that was working at the office. The place is nasty. We were there for 4 night and they charged us double price ! My friend was staying there and he only paid a little amount. There music very loud and people a screaming at 8-9 am. Manzanillo is very far of puerto viejo ai you must have a car or rent a bike. Dont pay 100$ for this ! "
