"Our room was excellent very quiet with lovely comfortable bed, nice bed linen, towels and plenty of tea&coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious. We ate evening meals at the hotel which were homemade and great quality and reasonable price. New owners have taken over hotel just over 2 mths ago and we found them to be very friendly, welcoming and hard working. They're improving the hotel with new decor and have great attention to detail so I'm sure once finished it will be amazing. It's location is...

"We had a great stay in the Bridge. In particular the staff and the restaurant was excellent. Loads of parking in a very pretty place. Typical Lakes rooms that great in a proper old coaching inn. We would stay again."

"Amazing location and amazing hotel. We loved our stay however it could do with some refurbishment. It is a dog friendly place so maybe could do with a deep clean in the restaurant area. The food was good but all the dog hair everywhere was a bit unpleasant. However we would still come back."

"Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10"

"Location was good and grounds are spacious to sit out and wander about on a dry day. Building and room in need of some TLC. My room had a burnt iron mark on floor, telephone had no line, staff said they were updating lines. Kettle leaked when it boiled. Side table lamp didn’t work. Dirty marks on bathroom door, bath in need of a good scrub. Had no hot showers during my 2 night stay. I called from my mobile, spoke to a gentleman asking to check it in the morning.
