"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. The bedding and towels were lovely and soft and smelt nice and the bed was very comfy. It was close to Hornsea and a large Tesco. I would...

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"The property was clean and the communication from the owners was good. However it does need some time spending on getting things sorted. All the beds need new mattresses we had to put all the duvets down to sleep on top of and even brought an air bed due to being so uncomfortable. Some other minor points, the kettle lid was broken and could only be opened by picking from the side (not safe when hot). The curtain rail in the main bedroom was hanging out of the room.
