Staff was wonderful! Sara and Stefania from reception both helped us when our trains were canceled last minute and we had to find rides back to the hotel and to Milan. Hotel was clean and beautiful and breakfast and spa staff were also welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful hotel! Our room was perfect with all of the amenities that you need and a gorgeous view of the lake! The staff was so friendly and helpful! It is a 20-25 minute walk to the ferry that takes you to other areas of the lake. The ferry to Bellagio is an hour and a half. If I were to come again I would have stayed closer to the areas where we wanted to go. Great hotel and staff but a bit far from the action. Lecco was a bit of a sleepy town in late October.

Best hotel we've stayed in. The service and hospitality of this hotel is more like 5 stars. They were polite, amazingly accomidating, very approachable and helpful. I come back to Malgrate just to stay in this lovely hotel. The view from the rooms was breathtaking and the rooms were spotless clean and huge in size

The views from the Lake View Terrace rooms were incredible and everything we expected and more! The firm bed was comfy and the bathroom offering everything you’d expect, with a brilliant shower. We had a fantastic breakfast each day with very attentive staff ready to organise items not available from the buffet. We had lovely oat milk cappuccinos each morning and decaf options were available. The onsite restaurant and rooftop bar offered a great option during a rainy day, should you decide for a day at the hotel for some R&R. We had help organising a transfer to Malpensa airport which saved us 2 hours of public transport (although at a significant cost). Whilst the hotel is tucked away from the busier areas, buses to Como, Bellagio, Varenna were easy to use (you can pay by card on the bus) and trains are available. Holiday of a lifetime!

Lovely view of Lake Como and Lecco from the top floor. Staff were polite and welcoming. Bus stop was less than 100yards away - with good transport to Lecco station and Bellagio. I went for a room upgrade with a lake view terrace - I didn’t use the terrace as much as I’d hoped as there were insects and mosquitoes there - so bring some repellent with you if you go for that option. Although this is much quieter than Lecco and other larger towns, there is still traffic passing through and plenty of people walking up and down the lake front next to the hotel - so it isn’t silent, there is still some life around you.

Great location on the waterfront. Staff were very helpful and quick to attend to any of our needs. A great spread for breakfast. Rooms were on the smaller side especially when you are traveling with big suitcases.

Great property. Nicely renovated and clean. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and staff were super helpful to accommodate. Lovely lake views from the rooftop bar. Will definitely stay again, in this quieter area at Lake Como.

Lovely Hotel in Malgrate

Very good hotel and wonderful staff made us feel at home. Tasty and substantial breakfast to start the day, and located by the Lake Como, a bit of a walk from Lecco which has mainline trains. We had a room with a terrace which was very good. All equipment worked well
