"Nice staff and big room"

"I stayed in an ocean front, hot tub room and was really surprised by how large the space was. Very clean. Had a mini-fridge (with items for purchase in it, but also space for your things), two loungers and a sofa on the deck, and double showers. The AC consistently worked, and I found the bed, towels, etc. to be high quality. We paid to park our rental car at the hotel which was a bit pricey, but they did essentially valet it for us; on-street parking was available, but we also visited during...

"The hotel is in a lovely spot, overlooking the sea, but there is very little around and about…everything seemed to be shut (end of May). The rooms are nice, if a bit dated, and the pool area is clean and well kept. Only thing was the noise from the building work on site meant you couldn’t really relax easily on the sunloungers. Food was lovely - great breakfast."

"Wunderbar zum entspannen und einfach mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Ein bisschen schickere Kleidung sollte man eventuell einpacken. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist eher im Fine Dining Bereich einzuordnen. Für richtig gute Pizza gibt es eine Minute zu Fuß entfernt, eine wirklich gute Pizza. Ein Auto ist auf jedenfall zu empfehlen."

"this hotel is a treasure. The proprietor and his staff are wonderful and gracious. There is even a dog on site. Be aware it is not close to the beach by foot and is down the hill from Tower Meena so you need a car or will rely on taxis. You may be very glad you stayed outside of the city walls because it is calm and beautiful here."

"We needed a hotel close to the CTA airport and Palazzo Sangiorgio is exactly that, about 15 minutes away. It's not in a glamorous location and the hotel is not at a luxury level, but it's clean, well managed, peaceful and quiet. Everything in our room worked perfectly and we were easily able to park to unload our luggage, drive to the airport to drop of our bags and return so we would not need to stress returning the car before an early morning flight. "El Spa estube cerrado durante toda la estancia por un problema tecnico. Esto afecto notablemente la experiencia, habiendo sido el spa un elemento principal al momento de eligir este hotel. La tranquilidad, que tendria que ser una caracteristica de este establecimento, se vio afectada notablemente por la presencia de un grupo familiar muy grande y muy ruidoso que practicamente monopolizo la sala desayuno y que dejaba los niños jugar, critar y correr en los passillos sin parar. "We had the most lovely stay at Antico Borgo Etneo. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station, the property is gorgeous, our room was very clean and relatively cool considering we were in the middle of a heat wave. Great hospitality and a scrumptious breakfast (we’ll be thinking about that lemon chiffon cake for ages). We would stay again the next time in Calatabiano. Grazie a tutti!"

"Very wonderful propert between Catania and Taormina with a great location near the Etna park entrances and local wineries. With a great onsite restaurant and small pool it made a great stopover."
