I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The food was absolutely top-notch, and the quality exceeded expectations. A standout moment was meeting Dita from The Market—she was exceptionally kind, always smiling, and truly made the experience special with her warmth and hospitality. Robi also deserves a mention for the amazing sea excursions, which were unforgettable. Maria was a delight, always friendly and welcoming. Antonio and Chilli from the restaurant were always cheerful, and Davide prepared the best pasta I've ever had. The person who works at the fruit bar was also incredibly kind, always smiling, and made a point to make guests feel welcome, though I unfortunately can’t remember his name. All in all, this hotel is a gem—amazing service, amazing food, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent time and the property is amazing. The house reef is a must do and the snorkeling excursion. I would not recommend the big game fishing though - lots of money and really no effort to ensure you caught anything. Although dining options are only a buffet it was the best buffet I’ve ever been to. We did the overwater bungalow with a pool and wanted to have food and drinks in our room occasionally but that wasn’t an option unless you paid a lot more. I would recommend upgrading options for your guests that are staying in the bungalows.

This was our second time staying at joy island and we will continue to come annually. Staff and service is always extremely welcoming and helpful. This time round the buggy service was a bit slow which was a little disappointing but it was quite busy. Our server Alisha at palm beach was amazing.

The property and resort are clean & beautiful. Staff was courteous and helpful. Food and drinks were good. Amazing location with great views and beautiful water. I did not like the soap, shampoo, conditioner & lotion products provided in bathroom. Also, all water sports and transportation are expensive. There are no ferries available, only private speedboat transfers.

A special thank you to Shahil, who was super easy to reach throughout our entire vacation and made everything possible for us! The food also deserves a mention—fresh dishes every evening at over 10 cooking stations, yet a completely relaxed atmosphere and a consistently outstanding kitchen team at the highest level. Our already high expectations were exceeded. To our greatest delight, we even received a complimentary upgrade to an Overwater Lagoon Villa. Staff were very friendly especially Ashraf who was very helpful to us from the beginning to the end. He made our stay very comfortable and relaxing to the last day of our trip. We had a baby with us so we are very thankful. We got the family villa that has access to the sand beach. It felt like you got your own private beach as it was quiet. The water was so clear and calm. Fishes, baby sharks and other sea creatures can be seen close to the shore or while swimming. Sand was white and soft as a powder. My daughter describes the sand like the pancake mix. The water activities were easy to schedule. The all inclusive food were yummy and a lot of variety. The egg benedict, seafood, salad, dessert were the best for me. The host were very friendly like Widiya and the servers too. Kona was very nice and offered to make a broccoli puree for our baby from their kitchen. The island was new and clean, no mosquitos. Overall, it was beautiful, relaxing, fun trip that our family would never forget. Thank you Ashraf, Widiya, Kona and the rest of the staff at Joy Island for giving us a wonderful vacation.

Wir haben unsere Zeit auf Joy Island sehr genossen. Wir wohnten in einer Wasservilla, die wir absolut für Paare empfehlen können – der Blick auf das kristallklare Wasser ist einfach traumhaft. Das gesamte Resort ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön gestaltet. Die komplette Crew war jederzeit hilfsbereit und unglaublich freundlich. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an unseren Island Host Ako, die sich großartig darum bemüht hat, uns eine unvergessliche Zeit zu ermöglichen – und das ist ihr absolut gelungen. Das Essen im Buffetrestaurant war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Man kann täglich aus frischen Salaten & Gemüse, Pasta-Gerichten, frisch gegrilltem Fleisch und Fisch sowie verschiedenen asiatischen Spezialitäten wählen. Die verschiedenen Desserts sind ein Traum. Wir würden Joy Island jederzeit wieder besuchen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Unser Aufenthalt auf Joy Island war einfach perfekt. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, makellos sauber und bieten eine traumhafte Aussicht auf das türkisfarbene Meer. Die Insel selbst ist ein Paradies mit weißen Stränden, üppigem Grün und einer faszinierenden Unterwasserwelt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – frisch, abwechslungsreich und immer ein Genuss. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das herzliche Personal, das uns jederzeit willkommen und umsorgt fühlte. Ein besonderer Dank gilt unserem Inselhost Habeeb. Seine aufmerksame und warme Art hat unsere Reise unvergesslich gemacht. Habeeb hat nicht nur alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt, sondern uns durch seine positive Ausstrahlung und Hingabe wirklich beeindruckt. Dank ihm hatten wir das Gefühl, nicht nur Gäste, sondern Freunde auf dieser wunderbaren Insel zu sein. Wir werden diesen Urlaub und die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft des Joy Island Resorts immer in unseren Herzen tragen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und vor allem an Habeeb!
