"A rather tired property but the room and bed were very clean. Decor and carpets are very tired but appear clean. Big surprises were no drink making facilities in the room, no cup in the bathroom, a hideous shower arrangement over a tiny bath where the shower screen opens inwards over the bath leaving about 6” of space to climb through before struggling to close the screen. "Kamers waren schoon, net zoals de bedden. Bij navraag hoe we de air conditioning aan moesten zetten, werd gevraagd mee te komen en kregen we een grote mobile ventilator mee. Was wel effe slikken. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en vers, vloerbedekking in de gang kon wel eens vernieuwd worden, die was erg smerig op zijn zachtst gezegd net zoals de deuren en er kon beter gepoetst worden. "We arranged our stay at the last minute whilst travelling south. However, the owners were more than prepared for our stay. They both greeted us and asked if we would require an evening meal which we did. They were able to join us for a drink before serving the MOST delicious four course meal from locally sourced produce (including from their own garden) and wine at a very reasonable price. Comfortable bed and traditional breakfast. Highly recommend xxx"
