"1. The hotel porters at the City Garden Makati (Francis, Gary, and Gerald) were exceptionally helpful. The hotel driver, Jon, has been picking us from the airport to the hotel and vice versa for about 5 years now, and he remains a careful driver and helpful with our luggage as well. 2. The breakfast food at the second floor restaurant is excellent and varied. 3. The rooms are clean and the room areas/spaces are big enough for comfort. 4. The location of the hotel is excellent: it is near fast food restaurants (KFC, McDonald's, Burger King for those who want to spare themselves from possible bad reactions to local food) and there are 7/11 stores for your other needs."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, strategic location, well maintained rooms. My only concern was the 3 day room service policy, 2 days would seem more fair to get a fresh set of towels/toiletries, but it makes up with the good value of the room. Overall I definitely recommend this hotel"

"Love the hotel. Staff extremely helpful, great pool area and gym. My only complaint is the rooms have an odd smell to them. Not an unclean-scent, but strange chemical smell."

"The facility is an older facility. However, it has a functional gym and swimming pool. I never availed of the massage, facials, pedicures, and manicures, but the people rave over them! The location is centrally situated to provide the consumer with the best experiences that Makati has to offer!"

"On one hand the hotel has a luxury element and feel to it, but on the other hand it feels like it's now in need of a few basic maintenance needs after a few years - my shower leaked and the safe was a bit unpredictable on whether it would work, I think there was a faulty electrical connection. Staff were friendly and the things I like about this place, I really like, but there might be better value options in the immediate area."
