Dear Zunay, You forgot to mention that we have receptionists 24hours around the clock who are on call for you at all times. They are located at the entrance of the hotel and open and close the doors for you after 23h. We do this for the protection of our guests so let's be real, we are all about protecting you and all of our guests! Even if you do not feel that you need it! By the way, no we do not have sewers, we are hooked up to the City waste and whatever smell you may have had, it certainly did not come from our hotel.

We are pleased that you enjoyed the central location of our hotel in the City centre of Madrid. Yes, we have a modern system which uses magnetic key cards. Our AC is a Daikin system and we ask our guests not to lower the temperature too low and to consider the environment. However these past weeks have averaged 13ºc at night in Madrid (56ºF) which is why we have put nice warm comforters onto the beds.For the firmness of our bedding, it is a matter of personal taste as many of our guests comment on how much they love our mattresses and we have even provided the name of the manufacturer to some guests who have made the request.Thank you for such a detailed description. If you had posted your name instead of making it anonymous, we could have looked into your booking to understand better your remarks.

Thank Kathleen for having chosen to stay at The WALT MADRID during your trip to our City, we were thrilled to have you. The City of Madrid is currently organizing a plan for the City centre to place all rubbish bins underground so our tourists (and for those of us who live in the historical centre) coming to Madrid will soon be able to avoid such sights. Dear Guest,We thank you for having stayed with us but are very perplexed by your comments. You stayed 2 nights and threw your towels on the floor, and our housekeeper Ana happily provided you new towels so we do not understand your comments! We would like to add that we try very hard to be water and energy friendly. When towels remain clean we ask hotel guests to join us in this ecological effort. Additionally, we keep our air conditioning units at 20 degrees C. These are the energy laws in Europe (in fact it is recommended that we keep the AC at 22 but we keep it a bit lower for the comfort of our guests. Thank you,

El hotel siempre se asegura de que su set de toallas y de ropa de cama estén limpios, sin embargo, si el cliente necesita un cambio ya que durante su estancia lo ha ensuciado no tenemos ningún problema en cambiarlo a lo largo del mismo día, como lo hemos hecho en su caso.Por otro lado, el chico de recepción que le ayudó con las maletas les ofreció quedarse dentro para esperar al taxi y así no tener que estar esperando en la calle, sin embargo, en su caso prefirió esperar fuera.Sentimos que su comentario haya sido tan negativo teniendo en cuenta que en todo momento se le ha ayudado.
