"The room was not serviced and my VIP guest arrived at 9:30 to unmade bed, no towels, no soap or shampoo. Email earlier in day asking me to call - called three times and got voicemail each time. I would not recommend staying here. Seems like it’s managed remotely. Not hotel. Even if I had connected nothing would have changed. Poorly managed. Excuse was that prior guest stayed beyond checkout time and housekeeping left for day. "

"The garden in the backyard is amazing, the cafes and lounge are wonderful. The rooms themselves are fabulous. A main issue we had was that the hotel is under some fairly major construction. At first we were put into a very loud room right in the middle of it with stone saws going off all around the room, but after getting to the room I called down and a lovely woman came and escorted me to another quiet room in a totally different part of the hotel. From there, the stay was quite nice, except that the gorgeous park in the backyard is rendered non-relaxing all day due to the construction above, only nice at night. Would for sure stay here again when the hotel is not under construction."

"Poor mantained. No cups in gym room water cooler, no bags in the trash. Tissue box and soap dispenser were empty. Toilet has 1900 style bath and shower curtain. But staff was very nice and helpful."

"Staff amazing but would be nice to have a lounge/lobby area to hang around in. Were told that we couldn’t hang around the bar unless buying food/drink. Overall great price, breakfast, location and service. "
