We ejoyed sitting on the porch outside the sliding glass door. Watching the water, the nridge and the boats transporting passengers to Mackinac Island. Three steps from the porch was a firepit and three steps from thay was the sandy beach. Very relaxing.

Older property renovations in progress. Gentleman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. Put us in a nicer part of the hotel that was already renovated. Pool could use a little bit of TLC. Didn't try it ,was quite dirty but did see them clean it the next day but didn't get a chance to enjoy it. Great place to stay right on the water. Worth the 69 bucks night

Older roadside motel that has been kept in reasonable condition. The room was simple and clean. The staff were very nice. The place is just what I wanted and expected.

Property has a small beach, fire pit and seats to see the bridge all day and the ferries leaving port for the island. The room was decent sized with older beds and quiet.

A wounderful experience

The owner and staff were wonderful, they helped with needs. My husband and I had a beautiful view from our cabin and we would book another reservation at Bell's Melody Motel.

Great location and great price beds were comfortable staff was really amazing polite and courteous and knowledgeable of the area and recommending things to see and do. My only complaint is hot tub didn't work and pool was very cold but the lake views and beach was well worth it. I will definitely return and highly recommend

staff are liers.. beds clean.. arragant and not helpful.. i drove 3 days and reached the motel at 1pm.. wanted to check in.. told to wait till 4 pm.. room had to be cleaned.. i did get checked in at 3pm.. room had spider webs all over door to the casing.. bathtub had 2 large spiders in tub.. sink had web with spider over the drain.. the room had not beed used the night before as staff stated.. my last stay at any of their propertys.. terrible staff..guy had two full tattoo sleaves and shaved sides of head hair cut.. no problem with that..just description of who 'lied' to me..arraigant snotty kid attitude.. no people skills.. lost my business.. even with spiders nice quiet place.. Ahole kid i described bad for motel!!!!!

The staff were very nice and helpful. We had a beautiful view of the bridge and fireworks. The hotel was very outdated, it had 2 beds, so it all was good. We just needed a place to crash for the night!

Was pleasantly surprised. Not sure what we were getting to at first. They provided a free upgrade and the room we were provided with was recently remodeled and so was very clean. It was on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the Lake (Huron) and the beach where some people were enjoying themselves. Didn't get a change to check out the indoor/outdoor pool.

Very caring place!!

Hotel is a little older, but very comfortable. In fact both my husband and I had our best nights sleep here. The next morning we did have a serious problem, which is when the young lady in the office, I believe her name is Kenisha( sorry if I have spelled that wrong. But this young lady, who had just met me, offered so much comfort and support I cannot say enough about her. We will come back to this location, just to enjoy the caring feeling of this place and it’s staff. If I could give them more than a ten, I certainly would. Thank you so much!!

Towels , mattresses was comfortable, no WiFi , shower floor all busted , cracked flooring peeling up away from wall , rotted wasn’t worth what I paid ! need a partial refund ! Call the front desk 15 times and could no get thru , called emergency number and she said sh call but never got an answer and complained at front desk at check out.

First thing...there is one reception desk for 3 properties. 2 seperate people in front on me in line were assigned rooms at adjoining properties they didn't reserve with basically an "oh well response". The ac unit in room smelled moldy and never got cold. The tv did not work. The shower was dirty and previous guests used toiletries were left in the shower, including used bar soap. There is nothing within walking distance. Also the parking is tight and multiple vehicles missed having an accident by mere inches. Really run down. The tiny beach area was pleasant and good view of nightime fireworks. Would not stay here again.

You Get What You Pay For

The person at the front desk was SUPER nice and went above and beyond for me to improve my stay. My room had a great view. It was good sized and cozy. It was great for a quick trip. If you are looking for a modern, up to date, well maintained hotel, this isnt it. It was a cheap motel I have stayed at before, so I knew what I was getting into. The bed was uncomfortable. It was so worn, there was a definite slope on one side and I was mildly afraid of sliding off the bed in the middle of the night. The shower head was corroded and rusty, which was a little concering as well. Overall good stay. I knew what I was getting into for the most part, but here is an honest review for those of you who may not.
