"Courteous and helpful staff. A bit too close to the train tracks but fortunately the last train was about 10 PM"

"Excelente servicio."

"Excellent view"

"Clean room and facilities. Friendly staff"

"Close to bus stop and lots of restaurants and shops. The rooms are small and need hanging space. There was no hanging space or shelf or closet to put your clothes."

"Location is excellent and is just a minute walk to the Bus station, Train Station and center. The AC was leaking water for the first 2 nights and was not working on the 3rd night when they shifted me to a new room. A floor fan was provided on request. "Highly recommend El MaPi. Logistically convenient, a very easy walk from train station, and close to the bus station heading up Machu Pichu. Hotel has an earthy/ nature oriented feel, very relaxing. Staff are very friendly, extremely helpful. Room was nice, clean, seemed fairly new/ updated. Restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast, fun bar for after dinner. I didn’t visit the spa, but am sure it was great too."

Very quiet room (sound dampening windows blocked out the noise of the train station across the street as long as everything was closed. Convenient part of town for trains and busses to Machu Picchu. Those were the good things. Strong smell of sewer in the bathrooms. Loose toilet seats. Only enough hot water...
