"Truly a lovely hotel! Easy access to the train station and they send someone to pick you up when you first arrive. The staff and service were all amazing and made sure our stay was very comfortable. "A very nice option in the middle of everything! There is no elevator so try to get a room on a lower floor. Keep in mind the whole town is up as early as 4am and there is a lot of noise. It might help to post a few signs for folks to be more discreet and courteous?"

Even though we had already checked out, we went back to the Inkaterra front desk in the afternoon to ask for help. "I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...
