Hotel room was OK, but run down. Elevator stopped working. Dog feces tracked in throughout the back stairwell going up 3 floors.

To begin, the bathroom didn't have toilet paper. No problem, anyone can forget that detail. I went to take a shower, and the water pressure was literally a little stream of water. Needless to say, I was there for a while. The staff told me it was because I was on the 4th floor. To make matters worse, one part of the shower was moldy. My room tiles were all scratched and broken. The bed skirt was full of dirt, and there was lint all over my bed. I really hope no one else has to experience that. No one should be charged for a room like this

La vista della nostra stanza direttamente sulle montagne era stupenda. Unico punto da rivedere la vasca/doccia nella nostra stanza era tutta scrostata e usurata, non dava un senso di igiene. La colazione da migliorare.

Great place to stay if you're visiting MP. Very friendly staff. Great buffet style breakfast but they could have provided some peruvian veggie dishes for vegetarians to experience the local culture.

Great service. Bathrooms need help. Bring earbuds.
Best thing about this hotel is Maria at the front desk. She’s amazingly informed and helpful on all things related to your trip to Machu Picchu. And while bed was pretty comfortable, the bathroom was in a bad state, mould on bath and shower. It was wiped clean- what it needs is a renovation. Also I heard thumping dance music and people laughing and talking through the night. Not ideal when u have a very early start hiking up the mountain.

Beautiful and accommodating property with plenty of room for a family of four adults staying together. Convenient to the Hot Springs and everything else! The staff was wonderful and friendly.

Beautiful views and great location
Overall our stay at Taypikala was a good one. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. The one problem we had is that you are unable to get into the hotel with your room key at night -- my partner and I had been out singing karaoke and were locked out at 1am. It took a very long time to get ahold of someone to let us inside -- I was quite upset. Apart from this we had a lovely stay.

I booked a beautiful room, but the elevator was broken so they give a room on the 2nd floor to have easy access but the was nothing compared to what I booked, bathroom was dirty bed didn’t look clean the tv look like a laptop size only good thing was the towels they look very clean. So sad this happened.

Spectacular view and great location. The walk uphill might be a bit tiring after a long day, but it’s definitely worth it. We had breakfast at Quechua’s House, a café/bookstore right outside the hotel, which I would recommend.

Good location. We arrived at the hotel at night, and next morning we were surprised at the view from the balcony with a gigantic mountain right in front of it. Magical view.

Ganhamos um upgrade e ficamos no quarto com sacada. Excelente quarto, muito espaçoso. A cama é grande e confortável. O chuveiro é muito bom. As toalhas são grandes e macias. Funcionários muito simpáticos e prestativos. Único ponto negativo é que o café da manhã estava com poucas opções em duas das três noites em que estivermos hospedados.
