"Considering how crowded Machu Picchu Pueblo is, this hotel’s location is great. It may be right next to the train tracks, but at least it’s flat and there isn’t constant foot traffic. Anywhere in this town will be noisy - either from the trains or the river. Pros- staff will meet you at the train station to escort you to the hotel.(A very wonderful surprise). Friendly staff. "The hotel was kind enough to have someone meet us very late at the train station, help us on the very short walk to the hotel, and store our luggage the next day during our trip to the Machu Picchu settlement. Yes, there's a lot of stairs but it wasn't a problem for us. The hotel itself is really beautiful and the breakfast is quite reasonable. It's an excellent value."
