"The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. It has a bit of a 60’s madmen feel- in the best way. My only complaint is that we wanted to surf and it wasn’t really a great location for that so we ended up at whaler’s village to surf, which was fine, just not quite as easy as right in front of our own hotel."

"Property is located on the best beach in Maui, with a walkable beach towards Wailea. Has the best grass area to watch the sunset with lawn chairs available for use. We stayed in the standard hotel room which was clean but small. Noise level was loud for the room because they are located by the walkways. We were bummed to find out the restaurant was being renovated at the time of our stay so we weren’t able to utilize all amenities. The 808 general store is extremely convenient and has the best staff working at all times. We will definitely be back when The Beach House restaurant opens and will most definitely pay extra for a balcony room! If you are unsure about this hotel, my advice… book it, you won’t be disappointed with the best beach and beautiful views!"

"Everything went smoothly! Staff was great, even upgraded our room without request. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful! Food was excellent everywhere on site and the hotel is perfect walking distance to shops and other resorts!"

"Overall, staff was very friendly! Shout out to the female concierge! She is hilarious and knows how to deliver a good time. The two outdoor pools are gorgeous especially at night with the beachfront view. If you’re on a budget, I highly recommend. It is definitely an older establishment and the cleanliness of the rooms are a little subpar, but the staff and amenities make up for it. Also, the rooms have their own washer, dryer, full kitchen, and iron. It made packing so much easier."

"I booked this for my son and daughter in-laws honeymoon. They had a great time and loved this resort. While it was on the reservation and I called the day before to tell them the couple was on their honeymoon, it was only recognized as they were settling up their fees at the end of the visit. The breakfast buffet was reportedly superb. They were able to rent a jeep very easily at the nearby Avis and enjoyed touring the island."

"Know before you go which tower your in, this will help your check in process. It’s such a big beautiful property so knowing this helps a ton. Great property with a restaurant and shopping spot downstairs in both towers. Also be sure to check the stores nearby, lots of places within walking distance."
