"We use it as a stopover as it is mid journey to between home and Charente Maritime. The staff are very pleasant and it is clean and comfortable. The dining area has been converted to a breakfast area with new buffet and tables and chairs and dinner is no longer available. "The staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were spacious but had no USB connectors and very few outlets and were hard to reach. Hotel is a bit outdated but there is nothing else that compares in the area. Spa with sauna and steam and huge pool is wonderful. Very strange bar area in red and black sort of a shame it is not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Hotel is in a perfect area for shopping and exploring. Breakfast buffet was okay but hot food was not good. Food in bar and dinner...

"The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were excellent- all very friendly and helpful. We can not comment on the breakfast as we decided to walk into the old town instead which was only an easy 10 minute walk away - and very lovely when you get there. It was great to have onsite parking but it was a bit of a faff as it is fairly tight spaces and you need to use codes to get in and out - but still good to have . The only reason we didn’t mark it excellent was because the on site facilities...

Felt safe. Very walkable neighbourhood. We were on the top floor. Took a the smallest elevator up to the 3rd floor then had to walk up to the 4th floor where are room was. Again very charming. "
