Convenient more than comfortable

Close to the stadium, good details about check in sent before. Room was very basic, and for the price quite ridiculous, but it was game day!

Did the job.

Automated checkin was a little tricky as the options did not fit on the screen which moved the "confirm" button off the bottom. In the end we had to not pay for parking to enable the information to fit on the screen (So we had free parking, bonus!). Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was OK though we twice had to ask the receptionist to refill the food as it seems they could only cook 2 rashers of bacon at a time. Overall good value for money though and would stay with this chain again now we know what to expect.

It was/is ideal for events that are held at the Groupama stade in Lyon. Within in easy walking distance of the stade and trams for Lyon centre. Also there is a beer cave on the way! Along with a Boulangerie, grand frais(veg etc)and a supermarket very close by. Parking excellent and easy access and secure. Downside we had breakfast but the scrambled eggs and bacon were cold but the othe breakfast items were many and varied.

Falling in Reverse CONCERT

Great location for going to the LDLC arena for concerts and fairly straight forward to get to from Lyon Saint Exubery airport. Check in was alittle scary as the machine would not recognise my booking but got sorted thanks to the helpline that is situated next to the tablet check in outside. Lovely room, cool working AC and shower. Great space and comfortable.

Walking distance to stadium which is why we chose it. Never had contact with staff, all done through a machine as we arrived late. Bare room with absolute minimal furniture and equipment, which is ok if no time in room except for sleeping. Parking at property was nice.

The french get their revenge for Brexit

In my 50 years of staying in hotels this was the worse by far, after battling through the technology of the self check as the hotel and reception was closed at 4pm we finally entered our room which stunk of raw sewage,the beds? were made of 3/4 pieces of chipboard with a 4 inch mattress the bathroom was obviously an afterthought and looked like something from the 1960s the breakfast was basically your standard french style with the attempt of scrambled eggs which was a yellowish cold sludge.My first encounter with a member of staff was when I ask the girl at reception if there was a usb connection in the hotel to charge up our mobile phones I was told there was not and was not offered any alternative or assistance my second encounter was the morning we departed I asked the girl at reception if she could phone a taxi for the airport she said she could not and offered me a taxi company card (in french)I asked her do they speak English(this I asked in french)her response was to shrug her shoulders which seemed to amuse the french man standing behind me,we had to get the bus/tram/bus to the airport fortunately we had sufficient time.My advice to anyone do yourself a big favour stay away

Pour le prix payé, chambre et sanitaire à peu près propre. État vétuste de l’hôtel Très bruyant côté route et bruit de sifflement dans la chambre toute la nuit qui vient d’un des dispositif ou ventilation bref à 50€ pour une nuit ça va mais vu le prix payé c’est n’importe quoi
