"It’s a nice modern style hotel in the good location. However the deluxe room had very few furnitures to put our belongings and the design of bathroom was not convenient to use."

"Ca fait plusieur fois que jetais dans cette hotel depuis il est ouvert au debut je nai jamais entandu les bruit pour le matin, cette fois je suis partir pendant 2 h les bruit de femme de menage puis la porte je narrive pas a faire la matinee tranquil je suis tellement decue cette fois pour image que jai pour cette hotel ,"

"Decent location, nice staff, strange decor/style which seemed to really date the property. The air conditioning barely cooled down the room. The bathroom curtains are very sheer and so it was extremely hot in the bathroom, even at 10am with the blazing sun on a high floor. It was 30 degrees C during our 1 night stay in May so quite miserable sleeping/showering."

"The staff at Le Phenix are amazing . Always friendly. I felt comfortable with them. They are gracious for we English speakers who have less than rudimentary French (I practiced! Really I did!) The rooms have good AC if necessary. The restaurant associated with the hotel is shockingly good. Such a wonderful lunch! We did not have the breakfast buffet because we eat so light, we did not find value. I do wish there was a hot water kettle in the room. Beds are comfortable. Our room was spacious....

"Room was very clean and roomy. It’s a very old building and there are rooms that have no windows though. That’s fine if there is a significant price difference but not good for a multi-night stay. Best to call in advance to try to get one of the couple of rooms that have windows. It’s also perfectly located just outside the old city. Easy walk to everything."

"Great location, local neighbourhood with lots of excellent bakeries, cheese shops and butchers. Fruit and veg market on Tuesdays."
