"Nice hotel and comfortable room"

"The hotel was a splendid surprise being a true manor in the style of a stately home with extensive grounds. We stayed in the Mews cottages which provided a large well equipped room and bathroom. "

"Lovely spacious hotel. Our room looked newly renovated and really surprised by the size. We also had our dog with us. Was great with her as well could eat in the bar area. Grounds of the hotel were also excellent for walking. Obviously helped with it being with a golf course so lots of space but nice walks in fields surrounding also and well layed out paths. "

"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "We had a nice stay here, and the guy on reception (sorry, we didn't get his name) was supper friendly and informative The room was clean, although some of the furniture was a bit dated. Breakfast was a decent selection, especially considering this wasn't a big place"
