"Steigenberger Nile Palace exceeded my expectations. After a "so-so" Cairo/Giza hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the real "upscale" experience—and for a very reasonable price, to boot! I opted for the "half board" option, and the dinners I had at both a-la-carte restaurants were hands down the best ones during my vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, but please keep in mind that "City View" rooms can be a little noisy, as Egyptian drivers are famous for "beeping"...

"Very nice resort. Right on the Nile. Resort is dated. But very nice and clean."

"Excellent stay. Very clean, friendly staff, amazing sunset view, good drinks and food. I even received a complimentary cake on my birthday 🙂. The only thing that could be better are the pillows (too bulky for me). Would stay again."

"One of the best atmospheres I have enjoyed. This is truly a jewel of Nile. Food and service were amazing. This is a great hotel if you peace and quiet right on the Nile! Has water taxi to take you to East bank Luxor. Just amazing stay."

"Many brides in gardens. 😜"

"Recomiendo Soleil Nile cruise 100%. Es una experiencia increíble. El personal te trata como si fueras de la familia. La comida es muy buena. Unas de las cosas que me hizo tomar este crucero es que las excursiones las pagas aparte y tienes un guía que habla tu idioma y te acompaña todo el tiempo y resuelve todos tus problemas si tuvieras alguno a bordo. Inclusive el viaja también en el barco.Las excursiones son privadas. Tu guía es solo para ti y tu grupo. Nuestro guía se llamaba Joseph y habla...

"My stay at the Nile Compound Hotel was amazing! The hotel is a garden oasis surrounded by the beautiful farmland of Luxor. I could not have picked a better place to stay. Mr Yousef and the rest of the staff were spectacular! Mr Yousef arranged my transportation to several sites and always made sure I was enjoying myself. The food, especially the breakfast, were always delicious and they even gave me a breakfast before my early morning flight back to Cairo. I am so glad I chose to stay at...

"Staff was friendly and very resourceful. Location is excellent! It is about three blocks from the water taxi and very close to Valley of the Kings and Queens."
