"Great location and very pretty area and village. We were caught out by not booking a restaurant. It’s clearly a popular area. Our room (2 kids and 2 adults) was fantastic with 2 floors, both with en suites. It was quiet and breakfast was good. Only downside was there were two power cuts at 4.30 & 5.20am which meant all the lights in the room came on and it took a while to figure out how to get them back off, so we didn’t get much sleep after 4.30am."

"Convenient location off the highway with free parking (gate closed at night). Included breakfast is ok. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. Room heating can be increased or stopped. There's a large green space outside the cafeteria that the children liked. The only issue we had was an occasional unpleasant smell in the hallway and bathroom which seemed worse on the second day. We will consider staying here again in the future."

"The night receptionist was lovely but the room and hotel in general were very tatty and dated. Breakfast looked nothing like the pictures and we didn’t eat anything so wasted a fair bit of money pre paying for it"

"The rooms were very original, with authentic wooden beams, sloping walls and crooked stairs! Lots of character in this beautiful hotel! Would definitely stay again if stopping in the area. Lots of choice for breakfast. The courtyard was decorated for Christmas (late Nov stay) with beautiful lights and decorations. "

"Basic room but as expected, had to book in last minute after flight cancellation. Staff were nice, bed comfy Shower was very slippy and water pressure week but did the job"

"The staff was nice. The “breakfast” was corn flakes and bread to make toast. The room smelled like urine. The bathroom sink had chips taken out of it and the shower drain had no cover with standing water. "
