Bnb familial et cadre reposant

Un petit bed and breakfast familial où l'on peut passer un séjour calme et reposant. Très bien situé, on est à deux pas du centre-ville, ce qui permet de visiter facilement cette jolie ville. Bonne expérience !

We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!

Quaint hotel in the heart of Lucca

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Relais San Lorenzo. It was a great part of town and was fairly quiet. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was roomy. I didn't love the shower setup, but the water pressure was great and the water hot and plentiful. Breakfast was good and they had a nice setup. I couldn't see any sort of in-room climate control, so I'm not sure how to make the room warmer or colder. It might be that I just couldn't see the thermostat. Overall I'd recommend the hotel. My only complaint is that the set of keys was a bit burdensome to put in a pocket. Kind of need a purse or backpack, but other than that it's a good hotel for exploring Lucca!

Great find

Great hotel. Situated above a museum. Reception only open at certain times so read the information before arriving as parking will be a problem. We parked outside the walls of the town. It was 24hrs for approx 15 euros. The roads are very tight within the walls and very busy. The breakfast was great continental style with the choice of eggs. Hotel is a short walk into town with shops cafes and restaurants. Great location.

Beautiful place to stay

We decided to stay in Lucca as we had read many good things about it and we came across this bed and breakfast by chance. It is located within the walls of Lucca, a delightful place to stay, if a little difficult to get to buy car. Within the walls, Lucca is designed as a one way system. We missed the Relais first time and it took some thought to get back to it given the one way system. Nevertheless we did it! The sign outside is quite small and so it is somewhat easy to miss. The Relais is on the second floor of a very old building (built in 1650 allegedly) and so you need to be able to carry your luggage up to the Relais, up two floors. It's not such a big deal but there is no lift. The Relais is a lovely place, very fashionably furnished and very comfortable. A delightful place to stay. The people running it are very helpful. It is also located in easy walking distance of nice restaurants and bars. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect B&B

The walled city of Lucca is beautiful and so is this b&b. The property is traditionally styled and in an excellent location. You are spoilt for choice at breakfast with home baked goods, free flowing coffee and eggs cooked to order. The hostess Is very friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to help make your stay at Relais San Lorenzo a very enjoyable experience.

A little tricky to find, even with FPS but you can drive to the hotel, drop off luggage and off site free parking, 5 minute walk, is available. Fantastic breakfast and nice, helpful staff.

Excelente localização na cidade murada, esse pequeno hotel vale muito a pena. Fomos bem recepcionados pela Daniela, que toma conta de todo hotel e foi extremamente gentil conosco, deixando a experiência ainda melhor. Possui estacionamento dentro da cidade murada, sendo necessário entrar em contato antes para reservar (possui uma taxa extra), e fomos rapidamente atendidos pela ótima Daniela. Com certeza recomendaríamos ficar nesse hotel e se voltássemos a Lucca ficaríamos lá novamente.

Amazing History, Centrally located

The Relais San Lorenzo was the most romantic and relaxing experience we had on our 14 day trip. We would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to experience Lucca in an authentic and comfortable way. We loved it and will definitely go back!

Lovely small hotel

We stayed overnight at Relais San Lorenzo. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, with a lovely choice including fruit, cereals, savoury pastries and sweet pastries and cakes. We found the Relais ideally situated within the walls of Lucca, within easy walking distance of everything. The owners arranged a garage for our car, who registered the car with the local police and organised our permit to drive within the old town. I would highly recommend this hotel.
