"We arrived later than expected so did not use the pool which was one of the things we were looking forward to. However the meal and drinks were much better then we expected as vegetarians there were a Only 1 thing on the menu however my wife had the Asian salad and we had broccoli instead of duck my veggie burger was one of the best I have had to be honest. Breakfast was good and again very helpful staff as we asked for vegetarian sausages and they were great"

"An excellent & cozy stay! Checked in really late on a Friday night to drive home early in the morning after an overnight trip to London. Parking is all underground which is nice, and there were plenty of spaces available. Room was spotless & well maintained, aircon was a great touch. Have seen others in reviews say theirs didn't work, personally, ours did in room 202. We didn't hear any noise from other rooms but when you are locking the door behind you and leaving the rooms there is a beep noise on the door which some may find noisy in the night, this wasn't really an issue for us other than the fact we were trying to be as quiet as possible since we arrived around midnight & didn't want to disturb others. Beds were super comfy. Cannot comment on the shower facilities as we weren't there long enough to use them, they did look clean & plenty fresh towels were provided. We also did not get breakfast. They only had earl grey teabags available in the rooms so if you don't like that, bring your own from home, there were also some coffee sachets. We had a small mishap where they charged us the fee for our room again when we went to pay the £15 charge for parking when I had already prepaid for our room online, however this was quickly resolved in the morning by the lovely staff member behind the desk, no problems at all. Both staff members on the desk morning and night were super friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay again & recommend to anyone staying in the area!"

"This place is a solid 3 star hotel, in a great location. The property in rough condition, I could feel the springs in the bed, bathroom looked like an insane asylum, the continental breakfast was a bag of snacks put together from the night before… but as soon as I walked out the door, recognized why I paid to stay there."

"Even though this property was under a little bit of construction it didn’t bother us a bit. The hotel itself is absolutely charming, and the staff were ridiculously welcoming and kind willing to help us with anything we needed to make our time there more comfortable. It’s right in the heart of town and within walking distance to the castle, food and shopping. This is a great find and reasonably priced for the standard of room and service! Highly recommend!"
