The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and sufficient for me and my nieces. It was a little noisy because the apartment is situated at a corner of one major road and a less busy road. It was also conveniently located near USC, which was why I chose this property. Unfortunately, the check-in process was extremely complicated and stressful.
Before arriving, read all the instructions sent by email, not just the information on the booking platform. There are multiple access codes, including one that requires you to get through the next door within 30 seconds.
If you have a car, the process is even more difficult. You need a remote to open the gate to the secured parking area, but the remote is supposed to be inside the apartment. This means you have to park somewhere outside, get into the property and apartment, find the remote, and then return for your car.
In our case, the remote was not in our apartment. We were given the code to another apartment where we were told we could retrieve it—and were assured no one was inside. Unfortunately, people were actually there. The situation was extremely confusing and upsetting. My adult nieces and I were in tears trying to figure everything out. It was traumatic.
The apartment was fine once we got settled. Then, the check out is the reverse of what I wrote above.
