We were visiting the Padre Pio Church, and it was very convenient to walk to the church. Good location and a beautiful sunrise from my balcony at the hotel.

The location is good

I read some of the bad reviews that said this place was run down but I didn’t think it was that bad. It was 5 minutes from the Basilica and the location was great. The breakfast was good. There was no air conditioning but a fan was enough because it got a bit cooler. The only thing negative is that the bathroom is tiny. A plus sized person would not be able to sit on the toilet without hitting the sink . The hot water for the shower was not hot but warm. It was warm enough for a hot day. The Wi-Fi in the room did not work so I had to come to the lobby to use the Wi-Fi.

Staff were helpful and called us a taxi when requested. Property is old and run down but conveniently located across the street from Holy House of Loreto. No dining options other than breakfast for €5pp. Air conditioning is an extra €10/night. The room was small and the shower was the size of a box. There is an elevator/lift available although it is small.

This is a very basic and slightly run down hotel but it’s also very cheap so if you don’t have too many expectations you can stay here for a night or two. It’s also extremely close to centro storico and the basilica which might be the best reason to choose it.

Old hotel very close to the Basilica. Very outdated. AC did not work very good, it was a hot day and it was not even summer yet. We booked because of offering of parking but even confirming prior to arrival there was none. Also was advise to call prior arrival to inform restaurant of arrival and even though I call there was no availability. It is a very small town and not many places that were open to eat. It was clean. For a quick one night visit was OK.

avis sur hôtel san gabriele

L'hôtel est très bien situé, au pied de la basilique ND de Lorette. le personnel d'accueil est adorable, très chaleureux, serviable et arrangeant. L'hôtel est joli, les chambres très correctes, il y a même un petit jardin intérieur et une belle chapelle. seul point négatif: les murs pas assez insonorisés, j'ai parfois entendu la TV de la chambre d'à côté tard le soir et ai dû demander à mes voisins de la baisser...on entend aussi quand les gens rentrent tard le soir et parlent (les italiens parlent souvent fort, c'est leur seul petit défaut ;-) à part ça tout est parfait

Struttura decadente, non corrispondente alle foto inserite nell’annuncio. Le foto presentavano una camera pulita, abbastanza grande e con servizi degni di un 3 stelle. Ci siamo trovati dentro una camera piccola, sporca, con una tv a tubo catodico ovviamente non funzionante e un mini ventilatore sul comodino. Mobilio estremamente vecchio, bagno piccolo e decisamente maleodorante, in linea con il resto. La camera era calda e puzzava di chiuso e umidità. Alla nostra richiesta di un possibile cambio c’è stato detto che l’hotel era pieno e che tanto per una notte non era un problema. Chiaramente i soldi li hanno voluti per intero senza batter ciglio. A condire la nottata un gruppo di ospiti motociclisti che alle 4 di notte urlavano e sgassavano con le moto sul parcheggio sottostante la finestra e, data l’assenza di insonorizzazione, non ci hanno permesso di dormire.
