"The Uig Hotel was in a great location - right next to the fairy glen and you can drive to all the northern highlights. The hotel room was lovely - very clean, comfortable and the right size for two adults and a kid. Staff was friendly and helpful and food in the restaurant was good. Recommend!"

"The perfect location for all of your Isle of Skye exploration. Nice staff and good clean rooms. My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."

There is a 2-mile narrow road with potholes to navigate to get to the property. Consequently, I left in the morning and returned late afternoon, spending the day on other activities. "Main issue with the property is it’s location, the state of the access road which is narrow and full of pot holes and some of the rooms. They gave us a room in the attic which was more like a closet turned into a room. The bed was small and not comfortable. We were jet lagged and woke up late so couldn’t try the breakfast, but we did try the bar which was good but overpriced."
