"There’s no air conditioning whatsoever, and Scotland does, despite its reputation, get hot in summer. There was no way to cool down the room, as the windows were stupidly restricted to open only two inches. Neither my wife nor I could sleep and this is not acceptable for a hotel that costs close to $300 a night"

"Everything was quite wonderful - exceeded our expectations. The only glitch was with the taxi we had requested for 3:30 am. I even followed up a couple days beforehand to confirm and rec'd an email confirmation yet come that morning there was no record of the reservation. Fortunately the gentleman on duty was able to get us in a taxi that was coming for another guest (who was amenable to our joining them) so we made our flight.
