"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

We had a balcony facing the water amazing view and sunrise. There were some plantings and grass on the grounds so it wasn't all concrete or ashphalt . "The front desk person was very accommodating! We were on the island for a wedding and had to come on the ferry very early. They let us check in 2 hours early to get ready."

"The room was clean and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful, even though we couldn't get the T.V. to work, (we are not at all technical). Big bonus being dog friendly. The free breakfast was really nice with waffles, sausages, eggs, muffins and yogurt. And we had an upgrade to a king size bed! We will definately recoment THe Waddling Dog, and we will be back!"

"Property is slated for extensive renos apparently starting in fall. Is in disrepair and needs upgrades. Hopefully newer version will have a pool and or fitness room.. Broken windows, odor of beer, homeless people sleeping outside by cars. Needs landscaping, lighting, powerwashing, paint. Room, sheets were clean. Air-conditioner worked well but very loud. Breakfast was basic, no pastries, eggs, toast, etc. Price was ok."
