Daniel and Miriam’s London stay
The Brownswood was a beautiful guest room in close proximity to Finsbury Park. The room provided a great place to rest and refresh. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom ideal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was a lovely way to start the day in London. The pub downstairs was a great place to have a quiet drink or eat some tasty pub food. The walk to Manor House underground station was less than a kilometre and very easy down Green Lanes rd. A great stay.

A taste of the real London
Great welcome by the manager and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely room, very comfortable bed, plenty space and good shower. Very good continental breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay at the Brownswood, it represents the real London for me. Thanks again for a great stay!

The Brownswood is a great place to stay in London, only 8-10 minute walk to the metro and with spacious lovely rooms very rare for London hotels. The rooms are well maintained and clean and the bathrooms is also spacious and modern. This hotel is located in the green quiet neighborhood and the garden on the property is really lovely - great beers and food! Very enjoyable in the evenings and obviously popular with the locals. Dita is a lovely host - made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was exceptional!

Nice Place to stay, very friendly and helpfull staff. Our room nr. 6 was clean and anything needed was available, the bed was pretty comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, but if you stay as we for 4 Nights a Little bit more variation would be nice.

The room was very well appointed and cute. Service was excellent - they helped us up the stairs with our bags and were incredibly welcoming!

Spot on
I stayed for one night to see a gig at Alexander Palace, really good location with just a short walk from finsbury park which was perfect for both the gig and doing some museums the following day. Was greeted with a friendly welcome at check-in and the following morning at breakfast. Continental type Breakfast is pre-ordered the day before but a good selection and was asked if I wanted anything extra on the morning, nice bread for the toast and pastries also tasty. Room was spotless and comfortable bed can't really fault it and would definitely consider again when visiting london. Just one minor thing to bare in mind is the road is a little busy (not all that unexpected in London) so no air conditioning would mean having to open the window so noise could be a problem in summer. Would definitely stay again for me beats staying in a bigger hotel for value and service.

Best place to stay near Finsbury Park
Had an amazing stay here, the room was lovely and the bathroom was very clean as well. The staff were very accommodating and breakfast was amazing!! Very much worth the money thank you for having us.

Immaculate
Immaculate room with such welcoming hosts. Stayed in room 1, which has so many beautiful little touches added… and the bed is massive. Peaceful breakfast, and if we needed any more we just needed to ask without any issues. The only opportunity for improvement that I can recall was that we felt a little exposed in the bathroom as there are no blinds or frosted windows. Definitely will return if I am in London again

This was our absolute favorite hotel! The rooms, the neighborhood, and Dita herself were all so incredible! We already can’t wait to come back and stay here again! From start to finish, it was an incredible experience!!

Nice little gaff clean and V friendly staff from arrival to breakfast Good place to stay and start if your going to the arsenal as its walking distance just don’t drive as no free local parking, but you are in London wouldn’t expect anything less.

We stayed a couple of nights in Room 1 which is a large bright and airy space, thoughtfully designed and furnished. The bed was large and comfortable and as we spent quite a lot of time in the room the sofa and desk space was welcomed. The rooms are above a pub with a nice outdoor seating area and food menu, but with separate access to the rooms so there are no problems getting in and out at any time. There is a decent range of quality cold breakfast options served in a sunny breakfast room. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back here and would recommend.

We stayed two nights in Room 1 which is a lovely spacious room, bright and airy, thoughtfully designed and finished. The pub has a nice outdoor seating area and good food menu, with a separate entrance to the rooms for easy access at any time of day or night. We arrived a few hours early and as our room was ready we were allowed to check in without any additional fee. The staff were friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. There is a good quality selection of mainly cold breakfast options served in a sunny breakfast room. We would definitely come back and recommend it to others :)

Really lovely accommodation, manager could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Rooms a very high standard with good quality linen. Less than 10 minute walk to nearby underground station.
