If you require parking this is not the venue to stay at, even though they mention that parking is available on site, it is run by a separate company. We were forced to pay £70 per day.

The building and staff were excellent . However the studio we had had not been properly cleaned . It kept having electrical faults . Also it should be made clear on the advertising it is a couch that converts into bed with a not comfortable mattress. It is a lovely area to stay in however

The check out date was wrong. It took for ever to correct. The room was far too small and had no facilities, as expected. The air conditioning was not working and was never fixed. A simple electric fan was provided. Totally unacceptable. In 7 days never cleaned the room, collect garbage nor change towels. The room was in a basement, with a tiny window facing the street. The description of the room did not match what I had expected. The only positive thing is the location. I did not enjoy my stay at all. Office personnel were not attentive and could not care less about my concerns.

The property was overpriced for what it offered. They charge to use bedding on the pull out couch and the first night there was no one to even give us the bedding! The toilet didn’t flush properly. The knob in the shower came off. We requested maintenance for those items and were told they would come that day. No one ever did. There was no liquid dish soap. Very poor accommodations for the price. I would not recommend staying there.

For the most part we really enjoyed our stay here. When we arrived at it after an overnight flight around 9 AM we discovered that the hotel was overbooked. They were very prompt about getting an agent to work with us to resolve the issue. We had come over for the Queen‘s funeral so headed straight to the queue for the lying in state and by 3 PM that afternoon they had texted us to let us know They sorted out the problem and our efficiency Apt was ready. The room was well fitted out and had everything we needed except it turns out a working television set which we didn’t know until the next day. After standing in line for 14 hours we slept and slept and slept. But then when we tried to turn the TV on we could get nothing. The front desk was totally unable to help us and because of the bank holiday we ended up not having access to the coverage of the queens funeral weekend. We tried everything we could but couldn’t get the TV to work. Fortunately I did have my laptop. This was a huge disappointment. Other than that the flat was great And the location convenient.

Confusing that they have two separate offices …not connected to each other….when you had a question. My problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Charlie from maintenance. Entrance completely covered by hoarding because of building work which caused some problems because Uber and taxis could not find the place! A large sign saying it was NELL GWYNN HOUSE would be easy and helpful.

s - Fantastic location. - Pods are small but all that one needs as a place to crash. -s - Beware: Expedia falsely advertises the pods as having a kitchen, dining area, etc. even though they do *not* - an expensive detail, if planning on cooking! -, and even though the property has asked them to change the description. - Beware: Expedia, unlike other booking sites, gives no indication that the pods are in the basement. - Lack of hot water in shower - Mini-fridge doesn't get sufficiently cold - Pods are not "soundproof rooms" as overall property description states; in fact, the building's adjacent back entrance buzzer ringing all night, especially on weekends, is easily audible

Worst hotel stay
Room 69 - every time you go in the toilet it makes a large garbage disposal noise which isn’t pleasant when you’re sitting on the toilet, the bed is the most uncomfortable nights sleep myself and my partner have ever had, the air con does not keep the room at a manageable temperature as it has stayed absolutely boiling which is not ideal in a box room, there is cream in a mini fridge that doesn’t work properly as is room temperature and finally the shower when you turn it on smells of egg.. again neither myself or my partner can shower either because of this. Worst hotel stay we have EVER had. Definitely not worth the money.

Location is great to access attraction and many way to go, many tube line from South Kensington or Sloane square. Apartment is new and well function of all kitchenett.

Beware.
Quite a disappointing experience. Don't get fooled by the shining pictures of the studio interiors as this is too far from reality. For the money o room in a f 4-star well-located hotel you'd get barely a 3-star sort of ibis-like relatively poor room. The crew down in the lobby can't help anyhow and you should reach out to the Manager who only comes next day.... Shame.

Grande decepcao!!
Pesadelo. Essa é a palavra que resume bem minha experiencia com o Nell Gwynn e Hoteis.com Apos chegar ao Hotel no Domingo, fui informado pela pessoa da recepção de que não constava reserva alguma em meu nome. Apos esperar por 2 horas o ok da gerente geral, me colocaram em um quarto de fumantes. Vale reforçar aqui que minha reserva solicitava quarto NAO fumantes ja que tenho bronquite. Depois de falar para o Hotel que gostaria de mudar de quarto, tive que esperar por mais 1 hora. No meio tempo contactei a Hoteis.com por 3 vezes. Gastei 50 Euros em ligações e nada foi resolvido. Como era Domingo, a area de recolocacoes estava fechada. Nada podiam fazer. Foi uma grande decepção com a Hoteis.com. Um stress enorme e desnecessário. No fim, me deram um outro quarto que tambem nao estava no padrão vendido pelo site. Dormi la e no dia seguinte fui informado de que a Gerencia estava me procurando. O motivo? Nao achavam minha reserva. Novamente esperei por 2 horas e após varias telefonemas entre eu, hotéis.com e o hotel, descobriram o erro. A hotéis.com tinha repassado a reserva de uma outra pessoa e mudado para meu nome. O Hotel nunca havia sido avisado. No fim o que era pra ser uma viagem tranquila, tornou-se um grande pesadelo. Horas debatendo o mesmo assunto. Ligando para o Brasil, linha caindo e gastando uma fortuna ja que cada minuto de ligação internacional e muito caro. Hoteis.com: QUE DECEPCAO! Pensarei 100 x antes de reservar novamente com vocês.

2nd time stay in here for business trip, perfect location (one of the most expensive area in London), good brand, but some staff are friendly and some are not, room is a little old, but it is fine. A little during night. Not a bad choice if you go London for short stay.

Very good and spacious room with large windows Nell Gwynn House is located very close to South Kensington, a very short and pleasant walk to the V&A and the Natural History Museum Also very close to the Kings Road in the heart of Chelsea All in all a very good choice.

地下に新しく作られたお部屋を利用しましたが エレベーターもなければオフィスのスタッフ、レセプション含め 数段の階段の荷物の上げ下げすら依頼しても助けてくれなかった。 洗濯機が故障したため連絡したが、すぐに修理などの対応も してくれず、短期滞在のために洗濯機がある施設にしたのに 役に立たずとても迷惑した。 故障や修理などに時間がかかるのであれば 部屋の交換などの対応をすべき。 部屋への入り方が数種類あるため、 鍵も数種類あったが使い方も出入り口も説明してもらえず困った。 また止まった部屋が外部から簡単に入れるところにあるため 夜間など窓が開けれずにつらかった。 異常気象でしょうがないかもしれないが エアコンがない施設なので、対応をしてもらいたい。 ※部屋に扇風機があったが、窓が開けれないためあまり役に立たなかった。 立地や利便性も良いので気に入っているのだが 今後のためにももっと改善してもらいたい。
