Nice, not great
The hotel was fine, great location and nice staff, but missing some thing that would make it great. - Beds were a bit hard but acceptable - Shower had no place for soaps/conditioners, had to keep them on the floor - The electric kettle's lid was broken, and it warmed up the water soooo slooowlyyy... my really cheap e.kettle is 3 times faster. - No warm breakfast, just toast/cereal. Hotel breakfast really needs bacon.. But otherwise not bad at all, a safe choice to make.

部屋はそれぞれ違った作りになっているようである。泊まった部屋はかなり狭い作りだった。旅行中なので、シャワー浴びて寝るくらいなので、問題ないが、窮屈感はある。401号室のドアの開け方にコツがいるようで、10回に1回くらいの割合てしかあかない。。。

エレベーターがないので、スーツケースを上の階まで運ぶのが大変。バスルームが狭すぎる。立地はかなり便利な場所である。スタッフも親切。

The good: the location (very convenient if you are arriving or departing from Paddington Station). Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The daytime desk clerk was pleasant and efficient. The mediocre: the included breakfast is okay but bland. Cold cereal, some sliced tomato and bread for toasting. No interesting roals, pastries, etc. And no hot food. The bad: there is no elevator. There are very steep stairs that are difficult to negotiate, especially with suitcases. The bathroom is tiny and the shower miniscule. The night desk clerk was incredibly annoying. I requested our boarding passes for our flight the next day. She did do that, but with it came a patronizing lecture on how to get to the airport, when I should get there, etc., ignoring the fact that I have done this trip many times. There seemed to be no insulation between our ceiling and the room above us; it was very noisy at night.

Servicen var helt fantastisk. Dem som jobbade i receptionen var alltid trevliga, och när jag hade låst in mitt nyckelkort i hotellrummet var det inga problem att få ett nytt! Rummet var stort för att vara ett hotell i London. Det blev lite krångligt att dem inte har någon hiss, då jag hade en stor, tung väska. Dessutom var frukosten inte någon hit, men hotellet ligger bara en minut från flera bra frukostställen. The Cardiff Hotel är det bästa hotellet jag har bott på i London hittills.

Bra beläget
Väldigt bra beläget med närhet till tunnelbana. Rena rum. Frukosten var sådär. Frukosten stängde redan vid 09:00 på vardagarna och 09:30 på helgerna.

Great location and surprisingly quiet. Very small rooms but worked for us using as base camp only.

Location
Location is good. Near to Paddington station and restaurants around the corner. Staff is friendly. The room is small. When we opened the bathroom door, it will knocked at the bed. One of the mattress was too soft. No lift in this hotel. Need to take stairs to upper floors. So don’t bring big and heavy luggage.Breakfast is ok. Everyday is the same but the timing is not good.... only from 7 to 9 am.

Most of the rooms are reached only by narrow and uneven steps. It's a nightmare to carry even a small suitcase up to my room. Turned out my room was at the top floor, which took 76 steps to reach.

The property was generally tired, apart from the reception. Could have done with some bottled water being in the room, and a full length mirror. The sash window didn’t shut properly, so felt a draft whilst in bed. Good location though.

Small room, no lift
We were given the room at 2nd floor, there isn't any lift in this hotel. A lady and a young child like us cannot bring up the large luggage, hence, we have to store the large luggage at the store room inside the breakfast place. In fact, the small double room is too small for two persons, cannot place large luggage too. I would not stay again here.

First room had no heat and the window had no lock. Got moved to another room, very small, shower tiny, sink narrow. I realize the it was an economy hotel, however.

Seriously that moving two of your luggage to the top of the floor wasn’t fun at all...4th or 5th floor, can’t remember. Anyway, room is tiny, especially shower room. Staffs are friendly, but no lift is one of the bad bad thing. Should mention on the website before booking, not recommend this hotel for any elderly or handicapped.

Although the room was small, and the double bed was pushed up against the wall, it should be a single room, it was clean, and when we asked for extra towels and milk the receptionist was very helpful, the staff was very friendly and helpful

Ok for 1 night
Basic hotel very small room with a really really small toilet and an even smaller shower cubicle anyone on the larger side would struggle to get into it . However the staff were nice and breakfast was ok
