"The staff is what I like best about this hotel. They are very friendly and are always ready to help. The design of the hotel is minimalist but very functional. Bathrooms are great and beds are comfortable. Conveniently located next to the old town with a beautiful view over the river. Definitely will stay here again!"
"Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff at Reception. Very comfortable, modern, good sized room, pleasantly decorated.
Excellent breakfast, with many options. We loved it. Very good location. Pleasant walk along the river. The food served at the bar is outstanding. This hotel exceeded our expectations."
"8 of us stayed here for the recent Rugby finals in Bilbao - mainly because it was the only hotel we could find that offered reasonable value for money (downtown hotels asking £700+ per room per night for that weekend)
As the name says this is a budget hotel but it was fine for us. Easy to get to centre of Bilbao on regular trains (station 15 minute walk)
Friendly and exceptionally helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast but no other dining options. Some cafes and restaurant over the bridge in the main part of the town"
"The location is very central, just off the main shopping street. The room was clean, there was big bathroom with bathtub. We had really good breakfast. It's a fantastic hotel with reasonable price."
"Everything was great. Only problem was our air conditioning wasn’t working and it was super hot that day and night. Did complain about it, as it was so late when we checked in they couldn’t do anything. Staff were kind and helpful. Would stay here again next time, hopefully the air conditioning will work."
"The experience at check in was very good, and while the room was quite basic, it was a central location, close to a little cafe, and the breakfast at the hotel was very nice."
"Hotel is dated, but well kept. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Breakfast is very good. Location is in the center between the Guggenheim museum and the old city. Great location."
"Nice room - clean and compact. Breakfast was plentiful and good value. Location is central enough although I’d recommend walking into the centre and across rather than direct to the old town via San Francisco as that neighbourhood is slightly sketchy. Happy with my stay here and a good price. Would recommend."
