"We really enjoyed our stay - very friendly welcome, room was great- clean, and lovely to hear the sea while we lay in bed. Breakfasts delicious. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking for somewhere to say in Criccieth!"

"This was my second visit to The Lion. The hotel offers excellent service at a very reasonable rate. The staff are friendly and the food on offer is very good and at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"This is such a perfect place to stay, so comfortable, so peaceful and so beautiful. I loved hearing the wind in the trees and the birds singing. The room was super comfy, everything smelled so clean, fresh and lovely from the minute you walked in. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, with a lovely cooked breakfast and proper fresh fruit, not tinned. I would love to just live here never mind stay here again. "

"Nice property. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the one night we stayed but the morning breakfast was good.
At base of hill where harlech castle sits. Good exercise!
Would recommend."
"A really great place to stay, this: not only a lovely setting handy for all sorts of attractions, but an interesting building ,itself, inside and out. Then, there’s the bedroom, en-suite and their attendant facilities — all excellent. But the best part is Mike & Sue, the hosts: very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining!
