"The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen. The room was also a bit tired. Beds were comfy and there was tea, coffee,...

"Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival."

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."

"The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. "

"Had a lovely stay , clean and comfortable and even had a bath! The parking space was a bit of a struggle due to cars parked on the grass but there's also a free carpark less than a minutes walk. Everything was there that we needed and the property was easy to find. We will definitely stay again and will recommend to friends .thankyou"

"It's a very good hotel, but it needs a lot of TLC lots of cobwebs that were there during our whole weeks stay.In the evening when having a drink in the reception area the kitchen door was left open so the noise was coming out.Small issues but important ones.The staff were friendly and efficient. Overall it was a good stay, but it could be a lot better. 7 OUT OF 10 I would return."

The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps. "Would definitely recommend Garden View. Its a beautiful space, very cozy, quiet & comfortable. It's finished to a very high standard with everything you need for a self-catering break. Views from the garden are stunning & a great location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely welcome from the host & a very thoughful welcome pack, including hot cross buns for Easter. Train station, shops, pubs & Pembroke Castle within easy walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!"
