Great place to stay, excellent value. Friendly and helpful breakfast staff. Very clean and presentable. We met some friendly locals in the bar and felt welcome throughout. Good place to stay, my only reservation was the almost a fiver a pint :)

Nice clean hotel and friendly staff; however the stay was ruined when 3/4 of the way through eating my ‘gluten free’ starter the waiter informed me that the food I had just eaten was not gluten free (as stated on the menu which I have a copy of). I then had to try and make myself sick and quickly drink 4 pints of water in an attempt to dissolve/flush the gluten. This meant that I could not eat anything else, was sick that night with pain and it also ruined the following day due to lack of sleep and energy. Not acceptable! While I suffered, this could have been a lot more serious. The staff were fully aware of my gluten intolerance as they were informed when I checked in and my meal choice was the two gluten free items on the menu (starter and main course).

Excellent dog-friendly hotel with amazing food
Lovely little hotel. Very clean and nice décor. I brought my two dogs with me and they were made to feel very welcome. Great customer service. Amazing food. They even offered me a complimentary takeaway coffee on check-out. Highly recommended.

Staff were excellent catering well for gluten free needs Tryfan (chef) was particularly helpful in dinner and breakfast service .continental breakfast was excellent and a cooked breakfast normally taken was not missed. Pub area was quite busy but did not create any noise problems and had a good atmosphere on a Saturday night.we would use again if in the area

I love this hotel
The hotel is quiet and peaceful and very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful and the food is excellent. The complimentary breakfast is a buffet with a wide choice of food and drink. Our room was huge with a 4 poster bed and a sofa and table. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was powerful and hot. The hotel has a free car park at the back. This is the 2nd time I've stayed and I'm looking forward to the next time.

Great staff clean bedroom mattress seen better days but still ok. Great overall but the staff made it a memorable stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our short one night stay. Extremely clean and comfy room and fabulously well looked after by Vicky, at check-in, and then Poppy for both evening drinks and then breakfast next morning. Thank you both. Look forward to a longer stay next time! Helen and Ian

We had a lovely stay. Only criticism was that the bed squeaked something awful. With every movement, it squeaked. Kept us awake, which was a shame because it was a lovely place.

Family stay and hound
Really clean and cosy (meaning warm not small) great family room, decent shower (just a bracket missing there). Good service great food lovely location, will look to visit again. Pricing for the hound could have been clearer, website said £15, charged £25, but like the shampoo she's worth it.

Excellent little gem of a place in a beautiful valley. Owner is very helpful and welcoming, leading a very good team - especially Poppy. It all made for a most enjoyable few days. Would definitely recommend it!

Had a warm and welcoming stay here. Greeted and shown to the room. Very friendly and attentive staff. Really made me feel welcome!! The room was incredible!! Will definitely be staying here again.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. I only had one night this time but I've stayed at the hotel before and would do so again. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a superb price for B&B. Evening meal options were pub classics but excellent cooking and really generous proportions. I was on business this time but I would also recommend the hotel for walking holidays in the area.

We booked literally an hour before we arrived. Very happy with the accommodation and the young girl that checked us in. Accommodation was great and beds comfy! Complimentary continental breakfast was lovely. Beautiful area, wish we could have stayed longer.

Had two nights here Great find - well placed for us to explore the area Very clean rooms and a fabulous beer garden with a mountain stream run off going straight through ! Great staff and decent food and drinks available Dog friendly too
