"Excellent small hotel in a great location "

"Staff were excellent both at check in and any time of the day. Breakfast was very good and the lounge area was very comfortable. The hotel is in the middle of Shrewsbury so access to all areas is very easy . Good internet access and the bedroom comfortable with a bath as well. Evening meal the restaurant was also good. Would recommend this hotel."

"Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. I would say the rooms felt dated, but this adds to the charm of the property. The evening food was fantastic, and there was a good selection of drinks available.
