The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."

"Very pretty cottage. Close to the train station and taxis, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Foot Path (breath-taking views). An easy walk into Fishguard and restaurants, pubs, grocery store, etc. We give the bed an “8” for comfort, but everything else was perfect or better! The owners left us a bottle of wine and some Welsh cookies, there was plenty of hot water, and the locals were friendly, relaxed and helpful."

"Wow! What an unbelievable place! Me and my fiancé (I proposed during our stay) just got back from the best few days at Cariad Pod. The facilities are amazing, everything you could need and more. Everything was spotlessly clean and perfectly laid out. We loved using the hot tub and outdoor projector to watch movies! The additional extras they offer are fantastic aswell. "For the price the room we had was perfect for what we needed the bed was comfy the room was lovely, the staff were friendly and done what they could to help, we would definitely stay again "

"Overall we had a lovely stay. We were informed that there was no provision for an evening meal on either evening (we stayed 2 nights) that was fine, as we were happy to drive to nearby Haverfordwest. We were a little disappointed that on Saturday evening the bar was closed to residents due to a private function. It would have been nice to have some prior warning, as a couple of drinks at the bar would have been a nice end to the evening. That bring said the breakfast was excellent and our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is very dog friendly and they provided bowls, a bed, towel and treats, which was very kind. We were also allowed to take her into the breakfast room with us. Staff were all young but very friendly and efficient. The grounds are beautiful and we would happily stay again."

"Breakfast was lovely, range of options to choose from, room was very clean and staff were very friendly. Our room itself was very nice with beds, sofa, relaxing armchair by the window to enjoy the view. The restaurant food was so good and again the staff were very friendly. We will definitely return."
